4 People Busted Selling Drugs at Albany Motel
Once again officers were able to make a big drug bust at a local motel. On Monday, November 2, officers were able to confiscate drugs, money, and drug contraband at the Motel 6 on Watervliet Avenue. In addition, officers were able to make four arrests during the drug bust.
According to News 10, members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation into drug activity at the motel and they executed three search warrants on Monday. Officers were able to confiscate crack cocaine, six glassine bags of heroin, a digital scale, packaging materials and over $1,200 in cash.
27-year-old Tyquonnay A. Herron was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third-degree (Class B Felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth-degree (Class D Felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh-degree (Class A Misdemeanor), and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the second-degree (Class A Misdemeanor).
26-year-old Tyler R. Goold was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third-degree (Class B Felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth-degree (Class D Felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh-degree (Class A Misdemeanor), and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the second-degree (Class A Misdemeanor).
34-year-old Akeem R. Pauli was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third-degree (Class B Felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third-degree (Class B Felony), and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh-degree (Class A Misdemeanor).
36-year-old Kevin Zapata, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third-degree (Class B Felony).
All four suspects were taken to the Albany County Correctional Facility. If they are convicted of all of these charges, they are all looking at a long time in jail.
