Who’s On The NBA 2K13 Celebrity Team?

The latest edition of the NBA 2K basketball video game series was released earlier this week. It seems like every year I ask myself, “how could this game POSSIBLY get any better”? According to popular video game sites like IGN, it has.

Some new additions to this year’s game include new controls (which I hear is the one down-side), the ’92 Dream Team, an enhanced MyPlayer experience and a more slick, hip, fresh feel.

The games’ developers pulled out all the stops to take the game to the next level this year by appointing Jay-Z as the executive producer. One of his main duties as EP was to assemble an a**-kickin’ soundtrack, including:

Jay-Z – Pump It Up Freestyle

Santigold – Shove It

Justice – Stress

Pheonix – 1901

Kanye West – Amazing

Too Short – Blow The Whistle

U2 – Elevation

Jay-Z – The Bounce

Eric B. and Rakim – I Aint No Joke

Diddy – Victory

Jay-Z – Public Service Announcement

Music is a small part of the celebrity contributions to the game. The new NBA 2K13 also includes an all-celebrity team including the likes of: Justin Bieber (?????), JB Smoove, Wale, Bow Wow, Chamillionaire, Sean Kingston, Meek Mill, Vinny from Jersey Shore, Pauly D from Jersey Shore, Mac Miller and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin from The Office).
