The hip-hop community was dealt a heavy blow early last year when A$AP Yams passed away. The founder of A$AP Mob died on Jan. 18, 2015 from an accidental drug overdose, leaving close friends and fans in mourning. A year later, A$AP Yams will be remembered in a tribute book for his beloved fans.

A$AP Yams, born Steven Rodriguez, was a renowned curator of cool with a distinct flair. He was a favorite among rap fans for his taste in music, as well as his hilarious care-free commentary, which he displayed on social media platforms like Twitter.

So for those who enjoyed A$AP Yams' random Twitter musings will be pleased to hear that they will now be able to purchase an actual book filled with the beloved impresarios' best tweets titled A$AP Yams Gems. The book's author, Ajani Brathwaite, who is a devout disciple to the gospel of Yams, compiled the tome of tweets, which will be release on Jan. 18 to commemorate Yams Day.

The book will cost $40 and is currently available for pre-order, but Brathwaite has said that he will stop taking orders on Jan. 17, one day for before the Yams-inspired rap holiday. The book will feature Yams touching on various topics, including music and women and would be a dope keepsake for any young rap fan looking to improve their quality of life.

On Jan. 18, A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Lil Uzi Vert and more will perform at a tribute concert dubbed Yams Day in memory of their friend. The concert is currently sold out, but is sure to be a night to remember and a great way to celebrate the life of the late A$AP Yams.
