2 Chainz’s Pink Trap House Becomes a ‘Trap Clinic’ in Atlanta
If you live in Atlanta, the lure of 2 Chainz's bright pink "Trap House" located on Howell Mill might be starting to dim.
The house is located on an already clogged the street and the traffic is crazy, and although everyone loves and supports 2 Chainz, who has always been a great supporter of the community and involved in philanthropic efforts, folks are kind of starting to wonder exactly why a "Trap House" is a thing to celebrate.
However, now it actually is. On the 4th of July, the pink Trap House became a community center of sorts, as it was rebranded "Trap Clinic" for the day, and offered free HIV testing for the community.
Sponsored by the Fulton County Board of Health, the free clinic ran from 11 a.m. until 3:30 and also featured giveaways and games. A couple of days before the house was used as a community clinic, it was used as a church on Sunday, where worshipers gathered and had service. We don't know about all that, but the clinic was pretty dope.
2 Chainz previously had the house rented until July 6, however, with its massive popularity, his team was reportedly considering extending the lease on the property. No word yet on if that's definitively the case. In the meantime, the publicity has been well worth any traffic complaints for Deuces, whose latest album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, is holding steady at No.5 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
What would really be cool, is if 2 Chainz continued renting the house, and used it as a community center, promoting various wellness initiatives on the weekends for the community. Just a thought.
