To say that Atlanta rapper Young Thug has been having a good year would be an understatement. Now, with the news that he's the first artist to have three top 5 albums o the rap charts in 2016, the year has gotten even better.

No, My Name is JefferySlime Season 3, and I'm Up all hit the top 5 on the rap charts—and two of them charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard album chart. Jeffery, Thugger's most recent release, debuted at No. 3 on the Rap Album chart, while Slime Season and I'm Up hit that chart at No. 1 and No. 4 respectively.

This news is somewhat surprising, because none of Young Thug's releases have performed especially well during the first week. Jeffery recently debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard albums chart, with 37,000 in streaming equivalent album sales and 18,000 in pure album sales on the week ending in Sept. 1. The release was propelled not just by the music but my the imagery on the cover, which featured Young Thug wearing a blue ruffled dress designed by Alessandro Trincone.

“When I seen that dress I felt like God gave it to me,” he told Billboard.

The news of record sales is particularly good for Thugger, as he's prepping for another huge life moment—his wedding. Speaking on his upcoming nuptials to Jerrika Karlae, the rapper said there will be not one, but two brides at his wedding in a recent interview with Billboard.

Either way, there's no doubting that Thugger is having a great year.
