I can't wait for this weekend's sectionals games to happen.  Both Hudson Valley Community College and the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls will have full days of awesome matchups.  Perhaps the best matchup of the weekend is the boy's AA championship between #1 Green Tech and #3 CBA.  Green Tech is extremly fast while CBA has a slight size advantage.  It has potential to be the best game of the weekend.  Here is my quick take on this from the Times Union:

Green Tech should win the Class AA Boys’ basketball Section II Title on Saturday in Glens Falls, but do not sleep on CBA. Head Coach Dave Doemel has coached in many big games and his team will have a plan and they will be prepared. Green Tech’s double digit win over the Brothers came in week-2 of the season, and a lot has changed since then. CBA will slow the pace, and utilize their inside game to their advantage. Green Tech is super athletic, and can run you right out of the gym. Whichever team can control the pace will have the best chance of winning. I look forward to watching a very competitive game at the Cool Insuring Arena.

Michael Johnson Jr. and I had on CBA head coach Dave Doemel this morning to talk about his matchup against Green Tech.  A few weeks ago we had on Green Tech head coach DJ Jones just before the sectionals began.  Below is our full conversation with CBA's Dave Doemel from earlier.

I truly can't wait for this game.  We love to go local here on Big Board Sports and this is one of the biggest local weekends of the year.  Good luck to all of the teams on the girl's and boy's side this weekend in the Section II Sectionals.
