Waka Flocka Flame was in the holiday spirit and decided to give back to families in his Georgia hometown. The “Hard in the Paint” rapper volunteers on behalf of the Clayton County Community Services Authority in Forest Park, Ga., and he recently gave back in a major way.

With the help of Costco, Waka made a few people smile with his huge donation of groceries from the big-box store. In the video above, the 30-year-old rapper is delivering groceries to a shelter and taking pictures with fans. The motto, “Feels Good to See Others Smile,” could never be truer.

Waka is encouraging his fans to volunteer their services and help others in need during the holiday season. “Not everyone has the ability to make a donation and that’s ok. Give what you can. Donate your time. Hugs are free,” he said (quotes via XXL).

For the Thanksgiving holiday season, Waka plans to donate a $1,000 turkeys to needy families.

This might not sit well with the folks over at animal-rights group PETA. Especially since Waka was voted the "Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2016" by PETA2, an offshoot of PETA. The rapper was named hottest vegetarian for getting naked in the “Ink, Not Mink” campaign and speaking out against animal abuse.

Maybe Waka can hand out Tofurkys instead.
