Remember a couple of months back, the news about the Police Officer involved in a Little League fight ended in Officer Dominick Comitale has being charged with second-degree harassment by North Greenbush police.

Witnesses say Comitale elbowed another man in the face after a Little Game Saturday night, according to police. They say Comitale and the victim had gotten into a dispute over field clean-up.

According to News 13, This isn't the first time the officer has been accused of being excessive. Comitale was the target of no fewer than four "excessive force" investigations related to his actions as a Troy police officer. The city had previously paid out $174,000 in settlement money because of Comitale's past actions.

A spokesman for Mayor Patrick Madden's office said the resignation was effective Wednesday and declined to comment further because it was a personnel matter.
