Car shows have become a popular trend on the internet. Talk show host James Corden’s popular Car Pool Karaoke segments instantly go viral when they hit the web. Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee show is also winning the internet. Now Spotify is getting into the trend with their ingenious car show.

In conjunction with Russell Simmons' All Def Digital, Spotify is set to launch Traffic Jams, a weekly show where a musician and a producer who have never worked together before try to create an awesome song in the back of an SUV during L.A. rush-hour traffic. Once they are done, the artist will perform the finished song at the Spotify-All Def stage in front of fans.

The eight-part series will kick off with T-Pain working with producer Southside. Other artists and producers scheduled to appear include D.R.A.M. and Melo X, Joey Bada$$ and Cardo, Pell and Illmind, Jidenna and Sonny Digital, MadeinTYO and AraabMuzik, Dae Dae and Marvel Alexander and E-40 and Willie B.

This is car pool karaoke turned all the way up! Traffic Jams will premiere on April 4 on Spotify. Check out the trailer above.
