T-Pain is still working hard on his new music project, Stoicville: The Phoenix. Recently, the Grammy-winning rapper-producer linked up with Metro Boomin, Missy Elliott and Dej Loaf for his album.

On Saturday (March 12), the Florida native went to his Instagram page and posted a photo of himself in the studio with Metro and Missy. We love that T-Pizzle is getting his cowboy on with his American flag-inspired hat. We also love Missy’s “Fresh” baseball cap as well.

"Just got out the studio with Metro, Missy and Dej," T-Pain later tweeted. "S--- bout to go down fr.”

We hope so. It feels like T-Pain has been working on his album for, like, forever. The collection was scheduled to drop on Dec. 15, 2015 but has since been pushed back. So far, he has released four singles including the Valentine's Day-released ballad, "Officially Yours."

There's no official word on when T-Pain will finally release Stoicville: The Phoenix. In the meantime, while we wait for his album, check out T-Pain's charismatic performance for NPR Music's concert series right here.
