‘Stuff The Bus:’ We Need School Supplies

On Aug. 26 we are stuffing an entire bus full of school supplies!

Now if you haven't been to school in a long time, you might not remember what students actually need. Here is a copy of my son's school list (below). Most of these items are relatively cheap and you're helping out students across the Capital District.

Required of ALL 6th grade students

A 2-3 inch binder
1 flash/jump drive 4g (for projects done on the computer)
3 boxes of facial tissue
Homework folder
Pencils (LOTS of pencils)
Pens
Divider for Binders
2 pocket hole punched folder for each subject (color specific listed below)

English Language Arts

Index Cards (1 package of 200)-
1 package of loose-leaf paper
Post-it notes
1 two pocket folder (Blue)

2 -1 single subject notebooks (Blue) Blue, green and yellow highlighter 3 required reading books:

"Dragonwings" by Laurence Yep
"The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan
"Bud Not Buddy" by Christopher Paul Curtis

Social Studies

1 two pocket folder (red)
1 package loose-leaf paper
1 single subject notebook (red)

Science

1 two pocket folder (green)
1 Hard cover marble notebook (green) Ruler
Pencils Only
Loose leaf paper-(for binder)
Roll of Scotch Tape
Pack of Baby wipes
