Solange is planning on delivering an artful performance at New York’s prestigious Guggenheim Museum. But good luck if you want to go. Minutes after the show was announced, tickets were sold out.

In any case, Solange’s performance is part of the annual Red Bull Music Academy Festival in New York. The R&B singer’s performance is titled “Solange: An Ode To” and it's being described as:

An interdisciplinary performance piece and meditation examining themes from 'A Seat at the Table' through movement, installation work, and experimentation through re-constructing musical arrangements. 'An Ode To' continues the Guggenheim’s rich program of groundbreaking performances, as Solange activates the museum’s iconic Rotunda space with familiar and reimagined versions of songs from A Seat at the Table.”

So this is not your typical R&B concert. There's going to be art installation and maybe even an interpretive dance performance, as well.

However, fans are upset that they didn't get an advance notice of Solange's performance. Some folks are so desperate to see Solange that they are willing to sell their first born.

"Dear @SaintHeron if you have any more tix to @solangeknowles at @Guggenheim I'll give you my first born child as payment, anything plz," wrote one fan.

Really? C'mon people, it's not that serious. If you really, really want to see Solange, she will perform at the annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 3.

Nevertheless, her performance at the Guggenheim Museum will be a good look for the Grammy-winning chanteuse. The “Solange: An Ode To” at the Guggenheim Museum will take place on May 18.
