Save Our Streets Santa Drop- Off 2019

Its that time of year for the 5th Annual Save Our Street Santa Drop. The initiative was started by Save Our Streets founder William Rivas.

Five years ago he decided that him and his family would create something bigger for the community that would allow the Rivas to give to anyone at anytime. That is where the Save Our Streets Santa Drop started, randomly dropping presents off to families in need.

Now let's fast forward to 2019, this is currently one of the biggest holiday charity events in the Capital Region. Helping out over 2000 families in the past five years to have presents for the holiday season.

This year you can get involved as well. Here is a check list of things you can do to become involved in this year's event.

1. Donate: Cash, Check or even going and buying gifts and dropping them off to drop off locations
2. Volunteer: We will need help wrapping gifts and doing deliveries as well
3. Spread the word! Grab fliers or social media engagement please get the word out.
4. Sponsor a Family: Go the extra mile and sponsor one of five families in need
5. Location: Put up a donation box and accept gifts on our behalf for the event
