The romantic drama Beyond the Lights didn't get much love from moviegoers despite being a solid film released last year. At least the movie's Oscar-nominated song, "Grateful," gets a proper representation thanks to Rita Ora at the 87th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 22).

The 24-year-old singer, who wore a fantastic black-and-white gown for the occasion, stood atop a pedestal to sing her rendition of the song. The Twitter crowd by large didn't seem that enthused by her performance, but at least she impressed songwriter Diane Warren who penned the tune.

In the end, Ora was happy to perform at the Academy Awards, which is a big look for her.

The always snarky New York Post posted a tweet referring to Ora as the “Blonde Rihanna,” which upset many people on Twitter. The newspaper later deleted the original tweet, but the hashtag #BlondeRihanna started trending on Twitter. Read some of the tweets below.
