Raekwon is bringing some heat for the streets with his new single, 'Soundboy Kill It,' which features lovely vocals from Melanie Fiona.

The song, produced by Jerry Wonda, boasts a thunderous beat and a whip-crackling snare and echoing sounds.

Rae keeps it hood, spitting braggadocio flows mixed in with criminology talk.

"It was real / You couldn't stop it / It's all night killin' them / Step out, it's money up tonight, all billin' / First round, you down sit down clown killa / I'm rap justice / Put you down, my n----," he raps.

Fiona provides the yearning hook, which gives the song a little Caribbean vibe.

This isn't the first time the two have worked together. Rae jumped on Fiona's 2009 remix of 'Give It to Me Right,' which also featured Busta Rhymes.

As for Rae's 'Soundboy Kill It' track, it will appear on his upcoming project, 'F.I.L.A.' (Fly International Luxurious Art). The Wu-Tang Clan member describes the album as "colorful" global music.

"It’s not just music that allows me to sit in one box. I want to make an album where people in London or people in Germany will love it," he told HipHopDX. "There are certain sounds I want to explore and not make it just a hardcore album from a hardcore emcee. I just want it to be universal -- I want it to have stuff for the radio and for the hardest emcee’s. I want to mix it up and make it global and fly."
