New Furniture Store Coming To Colonie Center

A high end furniture chain will be setting up shop in the old Sears Auto Care Center.

Get ready for another new retail outlet at Colonie Center. Ethan Allen is currently building a new furniture shop and will open in June, according to a Times Union report. the new location will replace the current Ethan Allen on Central Avenue in Colonie. This is the third new business to open in the old Sears, joining BJ's Brewhouse and Club Pilates, and their could be more. The Times Union says there are still 2 more spaces available.

It is certainly sad to see those old Sears locations fading away as they get replaced with new businesses - Sears we one of those places we all grew up with and always thought would be around. But, it is good to see new outlets are coming in to keep retail spots like the Colonie Center thriving.
