After being in jail for more than two months, Youngboy Never Broke Again is set to be released from jail in the next 15 days.

XXL spoke to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office in Louisiana and they have confirmed that YoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, is scheduled to be released on Aug. 15.

It's been a rough few months for the 19-year-old rapper. On May 17, YoungBoy was arrested after being involved in a May 12 shootout near the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. that left one person dead and two others injured. None of YoungBoy's team was charged in the shooting since they acted in self-defense. Unfortunately, the rapper's purported girlfriend, Kay Marie, was shot and injured during the gun battle as well as a five-year-old child, who was grazed by a bullet. Tragically, an employee of the Trump International Resort was shot during the melee and died of his injuries.

In June, a judge ordered YoungBoy to remain in jail so the district attorney's office can investigate the rapper allegedly making violent threats via social media on the day of the May 12 shooting. The terms of YoungBoy's 2017 probation for a 2016 drive-by shooting case states that he is barred from using social media.

Once he is released from jail, YoungBoy will be placed on house arrest for 14 months. While on house arrest, the Baton Rouge artist is not allowed to perform and must wear a GPS ankle bracelet.
