Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Moneybagg Yo continues to prove he’s a force to be reckoned with. Considered one of hip-hop’s hardest workers, the 26-year-old rapper has released 14 projects in a span of six years—his 2016 project Federal Reloaded scored a Memphis Hip-Hop Award for Mixtape of the Year. "Doin' It" is a standout from 2017's Federal 3X project, while his most recent release, February's 2 Heartless, scored a hit via the Quavo-featured "Bagg Move." Moneybagg's hard work hasn't gone unnoticed. His momentum lead to his signing a distribution deal with Interscope Records in 2017. Continuing to bless the streets with his Memphis sound, Moneybagg Yo is set up to take his heartless tales to the next level.

Now that you've watched his pitch below, it's time to vote. The 2018 XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
