Since making his mark as an actor in Hollywood, it's easy to forget that Ludacris is a veteran rapper with an unique ability to spit thought-provoking rhymes. On his new single 'In My Life,' featuring John Legend, Luda is still funny and provocative at the same time.

Right off the bat, the Atlanta rhymer speaks on the many rumors that's been following him in the last few years and he does it with incredible wit and style.

"I used to care so much what people thought about me, now I really could give a f--- / Not when I own over $15 million in real estate and bought all the 'Fast and Furious' trucks / See everyday I put in work and my salary grows, so excuse me if I ain't caught up in reality shows," he spits.

As usual, Luda's loud booming voice cuts straight through the track, which consists of wailing horns and faint keys.

Piano man Legend, who sings the hook, adds his deep raspy vocals, which is bound to increase the chances of the song getting heavy radio airplay.

It's been a while since we heard from the Disturbing Tha Peace boss, and 'In My Life' is a pretty strong reintroduction. The track will be featured on his forthcoming EP 'Burning Bridges,' which arrives in stores on Dec. 16.
