Lucky Strike Closing At Crossgates

Lucky Strike Social inside Crossgates Mall is closing. This spacious venue won't be empty long, another entertainment complex will occupy the space soon. Here's what we know. I have had a blast at Lucky Strike Social on several different occasions. We had my nephew's rehearsal dinner and a couple of birthday parties. Loved the atmosphere, but now I am sad that it is closing.

According to the Albany Business Review, the fifty thousand square foot venue inside Crossgates Mall will be closing but another complex will be taking its place. We don't know the exact name of the new venue, but we do know what will be inside. Apex Entertainment will be taking over the Lucky Strike Social space. They say it will feature bumper cars and a laser tag course and will keep the bowling alley.

Apex Entertainment hopes to have the new space opened by October but there is no set date yet. Lucky Strike Social said it will be closing for "renovations" on June 16th.
