Lil Wayne Doesn’t Like New York

Lil Wayne didn’t hold back when discussing his feelings toward the Empire State. Weezy shared his thoughts in an interview with MTV. He’s been arrested for gun charges in the city, and of course, the whole Nicki / Hot 97 Summer Jam situation, were both cited as contributing factors to his conclusion.

"Flat out, I don't like New York. The whole Summer Jam/Nicki thing, I can't really remember the situation, but I know it was my call. As far as last week’s show, last week was awesome. I think everything happens for a reason, and I think when people say that, you're not supposed to leave it at, 'Everything happens for a reason.' I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week."

The show he’s referring to last week was a free make-up show for fans who expected to see Nicki at Summer Jam. She performed at the Roseland Ballroom.
