Chaos erupted on the streets of Philadelphia as a 25-year-old man was shot and killed outside of concert venue where rapper Lil Durk was scheduled to perform on Friday night (Sept. 4).

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the incident happened just after 8PM amid hundreds of people waiting outside of the Theatre of the Living Arts venue. Officers who were patrolling the scene witnessed the altercation and then the gunfire.

The victim was found lying face down on the street and was rushed to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

No else was injured although authorities said one bullet struck the windshield of a black tour bus that was parked near the venue. The driver and a female were inside but unhurt.

Oddly enough, the gunman got away in a stretch limousine, which was later stopped by police. Three men in the vehicle were taking in for custody. In addition, a semiautomatic handgun was found in the wheel well of a car parked nearby. Police said the shooting suspect was wearing a black T-shirt that said "OFT" on the front.

Following the shooting, police canceled Lil Durk’s concert and held 100 people inside while the crime scene was being processed outside. They were allowed to leave shortly after 10PM.

Police have no motive for the shooting and have not revealed if one of the three men they have in custody was the shooter. At this point, the investigation is still ongoing.

Reps for Lil Durk had no comment on the matter.
