Apparently the upcoming boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy has inspired Kodak Black. The Lil B.I.G. Pac rapper challenged Lil Wayne to a boxing match on IG earlier this morning (Jan. 10). Peep the MC's video challenge for yourself up top.

In the video, Kodak wastes zero time issuing his challenge. "Ay listen here man. Tell Lil Wayne fight me, know what I'm saying," Kodak says in the Instagram vid. "We finna get in the ring, we finna fight--me and Lil Wayne. I'm finna knock that stupid ass nigga out. And if he whoop me, he the best rapper alive, ya heard me?"

A-Boogie, who's in the video with Kodak, tells the camera that he's got his jewelry on it before Kodak continues issuing his challenge. "Tell Lil Wayne fight me in the ring. And I'm gon' beat his stupid ass and I bet everything on it. Since Soulja Boy and Chris Brown doing it, I don't even need no trainer. I don't need Floyd Mayweather, Adrien Broner," Kodak continued. "I'm finna beat Lil Wayne stupid ass, watch!"

As for Wayne, he claims he doesn't even know who Kodak is.

This is Kodak's second time coming at Weezy in as many days, and it's somewhat unclear what, exactly, his intent is. Yesterday, the rising rap superstar uploaded a video of himself telling Lil Wayne to "eat my ass." Now he's challenging him to a fight.

Kodak has been coming for the crown of best rapper alive for a while now, so this could just be a continuation of that journey. In April of last year he made waves when he tweeted about being better than Pac and Biggie, a sentiment he doubled down on in our Freshman interview (below). Like Wayne himself, Kodak seems to be speaking truth to power when he says he's the best rapper alive, and seeing how it turned out for Weezy, can you really blame the kid?

Worth noting is the fact that A-Boogie and Kodak were in the studio when they recorded this video, which means they're cooking up some heat in the studio. Hopefully they drop it soon.
