Kanye West continues his winning streak. The rapper's latest album, 'Yeezus,' has officially been certified platinum.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that West's sixth studio LP has reached platinum status. "Congratulations to @kanyewest on his 7th @RIAA #Platinum album award for ‘Yeezus” – he’s 7 for 7! W @DefJamRecords," the RIAA tweeted.

The album, which arrived June 18, 2013, has shipped over one million copies. Lead by singles like 'Blood on the Leaves' and 'New Slaves,' the polarizing effort was complex for many fans to take in. West himself really didn't care. He explained to BBC Radio 1 that the project was meant to be intricate with deeper messages. “I’m not here to make easy-listening, easy-programmable music" he said. “This what frustration sounds like.”

'Ye is currently on the road promoting the album with his Yeezus tour. The run has been extremely successful thus far and pulled in over $25 million in 2013, making it the year's most successful hip-hop tour. He's even added more dates to extend the trek.
