Kanye West Reworks Lorde’s ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ [LISTEN]

If you loved Lorde's 'Mockingjay -- Part 1' track 'Yellow Flicker Beat,' then you're in for a treat. The song has been reworked by Kanye West ... and we're totally obsessed.

The original rendition is very much a Lorde track. Her haunting vocals, breathy whispers and amazing lyrics are all present. The Kanye remix, dubbed 'Flicker,' takes things to a whole other level.

Perhaps Lorde described it best when she tweeted the reworked track, calling it the "quieter, slinkier side of the coin." Quiet and slinky it is indeed, with its ominous nature heightened by Kanye's beats. The added drama straight-up gives us chills.

The track is perfect for the latest installment of 'The Hunger Games' franchise, which finds Katniss in a state of shock after returning home to find that everything has changed. The cinematic quality of the 'Flicker' remix hints of something much, much bigger to come.
