If you think you received great presents from Santa this year, it seems that Jennifer Hudson's assistant's gift trumps all.

The Grammy Award-winning songstress surprised her assistant, Walter, with news she was buying him a home. She captured the moment in a video she posted on Instagram on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31). The visual instantly becomes more hilarious than endearing. And that's all thanks to Walter's reaction to the gift. In a series of high-pitched screams and "Oh my god" yelps, he pounces on J-Hud in sheer excitement while everyone else in the room just screams.

"My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!," the 32-year-old former 'American Idol' winner wrote in the video's caption.
