Jay-Z Visits His Old Stomping Grounds

Jay-Z has been trotting through his old Brooklyn stomping grounds, doing a lot of reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Jay recently rode the subway to the Barclays Center where he headlined 8 shows. Now, Hov returned to his old stash spot!

Jay rapped about his old spot in the Billboard chart-topping single, “Empire State Of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys.

Jay left the area quite some time ago, but he still remembers his old spot at 560 State Street (not the one in Albany), that helped him get on his grind and become one of the greatest lyricists of all time.

One lucky fan that currently lives there got to chat with Jay-Z about his journey to the top of the game, or, the “throne”.

It’s very cool to see one of the biggest superstars PERIOD staying humble, acting like a “normal” person.
