New Rotterdam BJ’s Celebrating With $2 Gallon Gas Sale

BJ’s Wholesale Club is getting ready to open its new Rotterdam location, but members can start saving at the pumps before the doors officially open.

The new BJ’s gas station at 900 Duanesburg Road in Rotterdam is now open with 16 pumps offering discounted gas prices exclusively for members.

To celebrate, BJ’s will hold a one-day gas sale on September 16th. Members can fill up for just $2 per gallon between 6:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The New BJ's Will Be Much Bigger

According to the Daily Gazette, the gas station is part of a new 100,000-square-foot BJ’s expected to open later this month. An official grand opening date has not been announced, but it is expected to happen around the time the current BJ’s at 70 West Campbell Road closes on September 17th.

BJ’s says the new store is slightly larger and will offer members more variety and convenience. The expanded fresh department will feature fruits, vegetables, salad greens, meat, seafood, and deli items. Shoppers will also find a bakery offering custom cakes and cupcakes, a full-service deli, beer, and wine.

Are There New Membership Discounts?

The company says Rotterdam has been home to BJ’s for 30 years, making the new location an exciting opportunity to provide local members with an upgraded shopping experience.

BJ’s is also offering a discounted annual membership online for $15 through its Early Renewal program. The regular price is $60.

A BJ’s+ membership is available for $50 instead of $120. It includes two percent rewards on most purchases and an additional five cents off each gallon of gas.
