Chicken Salad Chick To Open In Clifton Park, Giveaway Chicken Salad For A Year

We first heard earlier this year that the Chicken Salad Chick chain eatery was getting ready to open its first locations in New York, and lucky for us - the very first one will open in Clifton Park!

Chicken Salad Chick announced in a press release Wednesday (September 9, 2026) that its first New York State location in Clifton Park will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, September 22 by giving away free chicken salad for a year!

The new restaurant, located in The Shops at Village Plaza at 5 Southside Drive in Clifton Park, will give away free chicken salad every week for a year to the first person in line, and the next 99 guests will receive a free chicken salad every month for a year.

If you love a great chicken salad, this is the spot for you. The menu offers over a dozen chicken salad recipes along with fresh sides, sandwiches, soups, and desserts.

In addition to the Clifton Park location, Chicken Salad Chick plans to open 24 other eateries across New York, including Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse.
