The Buffalo Bills wrapped up practice on Thursday morning, as they continue to prepare for their second preseason game this weekend.

The Bills will travel to Pittsburgh on Friday and play the Steelers on Saturday evening. Kickoff is set for 6:30 pm.

The game will mark the first time we will see Bills quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Head coach Sean McDermott said that Allen will play about a quarter and a half on Thursday morning.

The game will have a greater appeal to it, with Allen playing at least a quarter, but many Bills fans will be watching nervously as their franchise QB will play in a meaningless preseason game -- at least in terms of record. This will allow Allen and the offense to get back into a game atmosphere, before the start of the regular season on September 11th.

McDermott revealed some interesting thoughts on the Bills roster right now, including the battle at the middle linebacker spot.

McDermott admitted that there's some concern about the starting MLB position, which features Tyrel Dodson and Terrel Bernard as the frontrunners at landing the job by week 1.

However, Bernard has been hurt recently, preventing him from practicing. Dodson has been involved in multiple fights/scuffles at practice this week as well.

The middle linebacker starter needs to call out the plays, which will have to be Dodson or Bernard, assuming one is the starter by week 1. They could have Jordan Poyer or Micah Hyde call out the plays but that remains to be seen.

The starting middle linebacker job is the only evident weak spot of the Bills defense and could be the spot opposing offenses target in game plans.
