The Buffalo Bills are facing arguably their toughest test of the entire 2023 season this Sunday.

The Bills host the NFC East's Dallas Cowboys in Orchard Park. Kickoff from Highmark Stadium is at 4:25 pm.

The Cowboys are 10-3 and still have a chance to be the number one seed in the NFC, although the Eagles and 49ers have better odds right now. Dallas has been the hottest team in the league, as they are the top scoring team in the entire league right now (averaging 32.4 points per game).

The Bills will be short-handed once again, heading into this game.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that both safety Micah Hyde and edge rusher A.J. Epenesa will not play Sunday. In fact, McDermott went one step further and said both could be played in injured reserve, which would end both of their regular seasons.

Players placed on IR must sit at least four weeks, which would take them through week 18.

Both Hyde and Epenesa are free agents in March and with Hyde's neck health the last 14 months, he may have played his last game with Buffalo.

The Bills will face a Cowboys team who attacks defenses in the middle of the field, maybe more than anyone else. Buffalo won't have Matt Milano, DaQuan Jones, Micah Hyde and A.J. Epenesa. It will be a very tough challenge.

Buffalo is 7-6 and needs to win at least three out of the final four games to make the playoffs, but even that doesn't make it a guarantee. If the Bills want to assure they make the postseason, they have to win all four remaining games.

The Bills still have a chance at the AFC East crown. If the Bills win out and Miami loses one more game, they will win the division. If the Bills lose one more game and Miami losses two more times (and one loss is against the Bills), Buffalo also wins the division.

If you're wondering, the Dolphins last three games are against the Cowboys, Ravens and Bills...
