First Ward Common Council Member Dorcey Applyrs and Delaware State University graduate like me!! Says the meetings are geared toward fostering good relations between the police and the community.

Unlike explicit bias (which reflects the attitudes or beliefs that one endorses at a conscious level), implicit bias is the bias in judgment and/or behavior that results from subtle cognitive processes.

The conversations that happened here are aimed to help people understand how other people think. Forums like this can truly help people understand the thought processes of people who are different than them.
