Great opportunity for Mike Morrissey who is the new head baseball coach at Colonie High School. Morrissey is only 24 years old but he’s been the varsity assistant coach at Colonie the last two seasons and he coached and played at Shenendehowa. Morrissey is a young knowledgeable head coach with lots of energy who will continue the build the program into a consistent winner in the Suburban Council. Kevin Halburian retired after 12 seasons, but he did not leave the cupboard bare, in fact just the opposite. Colonie returns a good number of starters from last years’ team who lost to CBA in the Class AA Semifinals. Click here to here from the new Coach!
