Massachusetts-based producer DJ Manipulator knows to keep the ammunition ready and so he's tapped New York's Conway The Machine for two verses on his new track "2 Drums." The song is the first to be released from the producer's debut compilation Stranger Than Paradise, which is set for an early 2017 release.

Like a drum magazine, Conway lets the bars fly here, rapping on his opening verse, "Winter time on the corner, Louis V ski boot / I’m the nigga that you gotta watch how you speak to / Break niggas jaws, through a straw, he gotta eat soup / Jail niggas know the boy hard like Sheek Louch / This rap shit is a race / To the top, you could be winning but you made too many different mistakes."

For Manipulator, the drop comes after producing two tracks off D.I.T.C.’s latest project, D.I.T.C. Studios, which dropped back in April. Conway meanwhile, who received props from Anderson .Paak during the singer's 2016 Freshman interview, had just released a new track yesterday with Westside Gunn titled "Mr. Fuji." The song pays respects to the fallen wrestling personality by the same name, with Conway delivering a message to his doubters with lines like “I bet it hurt for niggas to see pop, know what they said at first / Con, look at your face, you’re not marketable, it’ll never work / Now tees with my face on it the top selling shirt."

Listen to "2 Drums" above, with Conway and DJ Manipulator continuing to make a name for themselves as the year winds down. You can cop the singles on iTunes and Bandcamp or stream it on Spotify as well.
