There's been plenty of speculation about what's next in the career of Chance The Rapper, and a brief exchange on Twitter seems to have revealed it. Fans now know that the Chicago rhymer has been in the studio with T-Pain, Akon and Detail.

Detail posted a picture of the four artists in the studio together. This prompted an ecstatic reaction from a Twitter user who was quite excited about the potential collaboration. T-Pain responded to the user, letting the world know what's being cooked up.

"Two records," T-Pain wrote. "I told y'all I'm waiting for the perfect moment to hit y'all wit all this shit."

As it stands, all the artists involved have fans waiting for new material. Chance The Rapper has not released a solo project since 2013's Acid Rap. T-Pain's last studio album arrived in 2011, though he did drop The Iron Way mixtape last year. And Akon's drought has lasted the longest. The singer has not released a new album since 2008.

While it's not clear whose respective project these two tracks are destined for, it sure seems like T-Pain is claiming them via Twitter. The Tallahassee singer is expected to drop his album Stoicville: The Phoenix later this year. In fact, T-Pain recently released a new single off the album called "Officially Yours."

Akon has been busy too as he just dropped a single titled "Good Girls Lie" last week. The song will presumably appear on his ambitious four-part album Stadium. But just like T-Pain, there's no release date yet for the project.
