The 24-year-old singer will embark on his “Set It Off” tour this summer beginning Aug. 3 in Atlanta.
For those of you who listened to the LP, “Set It Off” is one of the noteworthy tracks on the project. It’s a safe bet that he might drop the song as his next single in support of his tour.
The 27-city trek will hit major cities like New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, Miami, Norfolk, Va., New York, Philadelphia, Detroit and Chicago. The tour officially wraps up in Tiller’s hometown of Louisville, Ky., on Sept. 16.
Joining Tiller on the trek is upcoming R&B singer-songwriter H.E.R. and hitmaker Metro Boomin.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Tiller hopes the upbeat sounds on True to Self will lead to more livelier crowds on his new tour run. "The first time around [during Trapsoul], I had never performed before," Tiller explains. "I'd never been in a lot of clubs and heard how my music sounded in these venues. I don't want it to be a long slow concert, dull and boring, so I've got a lot of upbeat production on [True to Self]."
Tickets for the “Set It Off Tour” will go on sale on June 2 at trapsoul.com.
