Brazilian Rapper MC Daleste Shot + Killed While Performing [Graphic Video]

Brazilian rapper MC Daleste was shot and killed while performing on Saturday night (July 6). The shooting was captured on video and is posted above. Please note that it is extremely unsettling, disturbing and graphic, so watch at your own discretion. Hopefully it will lead to the assailant being caught, which is why we've posted it.

The rapper, born Daniel Pellegrine, was onstage in a public housing project in the San Martin neighborhood, which is outside of Sao Paulo, according to MTV. He was delivering his rhymes when, at the 1:05 mark, there is a loud pop and he drops to the floor like a ton of bricks. He appears to have been shot in the stomach but it's inconclusive. The camera angle does not give a clear indication of where the bullet came from.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The local authorities are viewing the incident as an act of murder, but it's reported that Daleste, who was only 20, was not engaged in any beef or rivalries.

There have been no arrests at press time.
