Looks like we are closer to being in the clear than many counties south of the Albany area. We are still under a tornado watch until around 9PM, and there is still the possibility of some thunderstorms, possibly severe. The worst of the storm is tracking south of the Albany area.

My mother still calls Great Escape “Storytown” even though it hasn’t been called that since 1983. Originally called Storytown USA, The Great Escape opened in 1954 as an amusement park with a Mother Goose and fairytale theme. The park has been through many evolutions and still operates today.

With record high temperatures expected for the first day of summer we are expecting to see our Facebook friend feed full of photos of dashboard thermometers – plus a flood of them on Twitter and Instagram too.
