A$AP Rocky is on a promotional tour as he gets ready to drop his anticipated debut album ‘LongLiveA$AP’ this fall. But before he drops his full-length LP, his A$AP Mob crew will drop a music project.

Rocky wouldn’t divulge much about the Mob’s release, but it will feature members A$AP Yams, A$AP Twelvy, and A$AP Ferg, among others. “Everybody has their own unique sound. Rocky set the tone,” Ferg tells Billboard.

Meanwhile, Rocky will make his late-night network debut on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on July 20. No word on what song Rocky will perform on the show, but it will be an exciting moment for the 23-year-old Harlem rapper.

As for the as-of-yet unreleased first single from the album, Rocky said it won’t be the usual Houston-influenced song. “I’d put out some wack, slow s—, straight up. I’ll just put out a song saying nothing call me Pootie Tang,” he jokingly tells Billboard. “Putting out that motherf—ing tastemaker music that we do, we change the sound of mainstream.”

“The mainstream isn’t gonna be that bulls— that you hear on the radio all day,” continues Rocky. “The mainstream’s gonna be that A$AP — we’re gonna change the whole world with this s—. I have a dream! I’m the trill Martin Luther King, straight up.”

A$AP Rocky’s debut album ‘LongLiveA$AP’ is tentatively scheduled for release on Sept. 11.
