A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service’ Is Certified Gold

A Tribe Called Quest earned its first RIAA certification in 18 years with the comeback album, We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, released in November 2016. The album went gold, propelled by the strong lead single, the politically-charged anthem,  "We The People."

We Got It From Here... is Tribe's first release since 1998's Love Movement. The recent gold certification means that all six of ATCQ's albums have reached gold or platinum status. The album debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it dropped, and was the group's first album following Phife Dawg's death in March 2016.

As of right now, Tribe is busy on the festival circuit, though Q-Tip did recently cancel their European festival dates due to an injured shoulder. You can check out a summer festival schedule here.
