Back in October it was announced that Steve Harvey was returning to host a revival special of Showtime at the Apollo on Fox in December. Well, we now have the list of artists who are reportedly planning to perform on the show.

According to Okayplayer, A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak are among the acts slated to perform on the special. Also on the list are John Legend and comedians Jay Pharoah, Mike Epps and George Lopez. Broadway World is reporting that rappers Doug E. Fresh and Rakim as well as R&B veterans Bell Biv DeVoe and En Vogue are on the bill as well. Comedian Tracy Morgan is also performing.

This will also be a homecoming of sorts for ATCQ. The group performed their classic song “Scenario” at the original Live at the Apollo event back in 1992. Now as we approach the end of 2016, the iconic group will get to grace the stage again in tribute to the late Phife Dawg. Recently, ATCQ released their sixth and final album, We Got It From Here...Thank You 4 Your Service, which premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In addition to the musical acts, Apollo's long-standing Amateur Night competition, now in its 82nd year, will present up-and-coming artists to the stage to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world. If you are familiar with the theater’s Amatuer Night audience, you know that they don’t show any mercy with anyone who doesn’t bring their A game.

The two-hour version of Showtime at the Apollo will be broadcast on Fox on Dec. 5 at 8PM ET.
