17 Rappers Who Have Dissed Donald Trump
It's clear that Donald Trump is not a favorite among the hip-hop community. Why would he be? The genre, driven by mostly minorities, who at one point in time have experienced some form of discrimination, is especially insulted by some of Trump's racist remarks and classist statements. With the exception of Azealia Banks, who's voting for Trump because she believes he's the "only one who truly has the balls to bust up big business," it's safe to say the majority of hip-hop won't be voting for the Republican Party's front-runner.
Mac Miller especially won't be casting a vote for Donald, as their beef dates back to 2013. Following the Pittsburgh rapper's 2011 breakout platinum-selling single, "Donald Trump," Trump although pleased with the track's success, eventually wanted money for the use of his name. "Little @MacMiller, you illegally used my name for your song “Donald Trump” which now has over 75 million hits," tweeted the presidential candidate. "Little @MacMiller, I want the money not the plaque you gave me! Little @MacMiller, I’m now going to teach you a big boy lesson about lawsuits and finance. You ungrateful dog!" Mac in-turn called Trump a "dickhead" and the rest is history. The beef is still alive and well to this day.
