Four years removed from launching his hit Starz TV series, Power, it's safe to say 50 Cent has been outdoing himself. The thing is, the Power creator isn't done yet. Earlier today (Oct. 31), the Queens rapper jumped onto Instagram and announced that his forthcoming Power spinoff will be a prequel series influenced by the late 1980s.

"My Power spin off is so crazy I'm doing the prequel," he began the Instagram post. "Wait till you see this shit, TGE influence (The Golden Era) Southside we outside 1988 Boom #lecheminduroi."

In the picture posted to Instagram, Fif is sitting on what appears to be a police car. He is dressed in an all-black outfit while there is another cop vehicle parked in front of him.

Power, which made it's debut on Starz back in June 2014, revolves around a drug dealer turned businessman who tries his best to keep his street life, love life and business together, despite all the conflicts he encounters throughout the show.

There hasn't been more information revealed regarding the prequel but if it is anything like Power, it's sure to make Starz very happy Fif inked a $150 million deal with them earlier this month.

In addition to creating his Power prequel and buying 200 seats to Ja Rule's concert to be petty, 50 recently picked a side in the fight against Cardi B versus Nicki Minaj. The G-Unit rapper defended the Queen rapper by reposting an older article that proved the shoe designer had intended to do a shoe deal with Nicki.
