Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Chris Brown and Tamar Braxton got SOOOOOUUUULLLL! All six of them are up for five nominations each at the 2013 Soul Train Awards, taking place in Las Vegas on November 8th. The show will be hosted by big-screen funny man, Anthony Anderson.

CENTRIC’s Paxton Baker released a press release saying “We are thrilled to bring the Soul Train Awards back to Las Vegas with a star-studded lineup that honors and celebrates icons and break-through artists alike.” He also shared his excitement with this year’s host, “We rolled the dice and hit the jackpot with Anthony as host and are excited to see what magical moments he will bring to the Orleans Arena during this year’s Soul Train Awards.”

The show will air on December 1st at 9pm on both CENTRIC and BET. A list of some of the nominees for some of the biggest awards are below.

Best Gospel/Inspirational Performance – Tasha Cobbs (Break Every Chain), Lecrae (Confessions), Hezekiah Walker (Every Priase), Shirley Caesar (God Will Make Away), Tye Tribbett (If He Did It Before…Same God), John P. Kee & New Life (Life & Favor)

Best New Artist – Bridget Kelly, K. Michelle, Kendrick Lamar, Tamar Braxton, TGT.

Best Hip Hop Song of the Year – Wale (Bad), Nicki Minaj (High School), Jay Z (Holy Grail), Kendrick Lamar (Poetic Justice), J. Cole (Power Trip), Drake (Started From the Bottom).

The Chaka Khan Best R&B/Soul Female Artist – Alicia Keys, Chrisette Michele, Fantasia, Janelle Monae, Kelly Rowland.

Best R&B Soul Male Artist – Bruno Mars, Charlie Wilson, Chris Brown, John Legend, Miguel, Robin Thicke.

Album of the Year – Justin Timberlake (The 20/20 Experience), Kendrick Lamar (good kid, m.A.A.d city), Miguel (Kaleidoscope Dream), Jay Z (Magna Carta Holy Grail), Fantasia (The Side Effects of You), Rihanna (Unapologetic).
