T.I. is known as a producer, actor, fashion designer, author and much more but East Coast fans got to see the hip-hop artist from Atlanta firsthand last night (March 7) during Hot 97’s 5 Boro Takeover tour at Best Buy Theater in New York City.

The southern rapper graced the stage 10 minutes earlier than he was scheduled for, which excited fans. He started his set with ‘Top Back’ and ‘Rubberband Man.’

With T.I.’s command and charisma onstage, it’s no wonder his supporters' energy didn’t waver once. Those in the audience also bounced and sang to hits such as ‘Bring 'Em Out,’ ‘Swing Ya Rag,’ ‘Live Your Life,’ ‘What You Know’ and ‘Whatever You Like.’

Fellow southern rhymer Juicy J joined T.I. onstage to perform ‘We Still in This B---.‘ His vigorous set, which was filled with his signature southern swag, ended with a show-stopping performance of ‘Ball.’

Before the 'Trouble Man' creator came out, legendary DJ and Bronx native Funkmaster Flex spun some tunes for the crowd. New Jersey rapper Joe Budden also served as support for the tour as he took the stage and had hands waving and fans bouncing  to tracks such as ‘Pump It Up’ and ‘She Don’t Put It Down,’ among others.

New York City won’t be able to stay away when T.I. returns to tour in support of his forthcoming record, ‘Trouble Man: He Who Wears the Crown.’
