Thanksgiving Day

It has been a tradition for seventy-five years. The Troy Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. Not only can you run the 5K, but you can also get dressed up in your best costume to win some cash!

A traditional Thanksgiving dinner for me was turkey, ham, gravy, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, greens, cranberry sauce, rolls, and sweet potato pie for dessert. My grandmother made the best sweet potato pies! My favorite side dish was always sauerkraut though.
