If you grew up in Albany and went to school in this area then I'm pretty sure you heard about the "World Famous Harlem Globetrotters" they used to come here and do performances all the time at the Washington Ave Armory.

My middle school used to do this big event where if you did your homework for the month then you could win free tickets to check them out and a meet and greet. I remember the game/show was always so much fun.
