Young Dolph is very protective of his expensive jewelry. Case in point: the "Major" rapper was posted up in an undisclosed venue when a man tried to snatch his chain. The man’s attempted robbery led to a vicious beatdown.

In a video that's recently been circulating on the internet, several people can be seen throwing haymakers at the alleged would-be chain-snatcher. As at least one Twitter user noted, the piano version of Ella Mai’s “Trip” is playing in the background. Judging by the chaos, someone was going to take a trip to the hospital.

At the end of the video, we see one man on the ground. It’s unclear if that was the man who, through poor judgement, decided to grab Dolph’s chain. Another clip was posted showing Dolph’s hands which had a few cuts and bruises. He also showed off his blinged-out Smurf chain to let everyone know that his jewelry is still intact.

Hopefully, Dolph won't experience any foolishness when he embarks on his Role Model Tour with Kap G. The North American trek kicks off this Saturday (Jan. 5) in Seattle and will hit major cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Detroit and Minneapolis. The tour will wrap up in Milwaukee, Wisc., on Feb. 10.

"The best part of being an artist are the fans, so this tour gives me the chance to connect with them in different cities all over the country," Dolph said in a statement. "I enjoyed making Role Model and I look forward to performing it live with the people that rock with me and my music."
