Numbers don’t lie, people. Even if you’re not a fan of Kanye West, you have to respect him. Even with stiff competition from the likes of J. Cole and Mac Miller, Yeezy is expected to have the number one album this week.

Kanye has gone up against his share of hip hop heavyweights in the past. In 2010, his album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was released the same week as Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday.

J. Cole’s Born Sinner sales could top the 300,000 mark, but Kanye’s Yeezus is expected to push anywhere from 360,000 to 380,000 copies. Mac Miller’s Watching Movies with the Sound Off is expected to come in third, with about 100,000 copies sold.

If all three top 100,000 copies sold, it would be a huge accomplishment for the genre. It would be the first time three rap albums sold over 100K in the same week since 2006.

Yes, it’s easy to find any record you want online without dropping a dime, but, please – support your favorite artists! Get it on iTunes, from Best Buy, wherever.
