Vince Staples Announces ‘The Life Aquatic’ Tour

Vince Staples has just announced that he's hitting the road for a "The Life Aquatic" tour, which kicks off in February 2017.

Vince will headline the trek (the title for which is a nod to Wes Anderson's popular film) with Kilo Kish also joining him on the 26-date tour which will hit Atlanta, Chicago and Boston among other cities. This is Vince's first ever headlining tour, which isn't surprising given how busy he's been this year. He launched a music program for inner-city kids, inked a deal with Converse and began hosting his own Beats 1 radio show. He also dropped a well-received EP, Prima Donna, which was accompanied by a provocative 10 minute short film that explored the ups and downs of fame.

“You’re not a person when you make music, you’re a link,” he says of fame in the digital age. “They just want to click it. You’re not uploaded yet, f— you. What happened? Your mom died? Your car didn’t start today? You’re not in a good mood? Where’s my song? It gets kind of crazy out here.”
